The lecture was hosted by Professor Liu Xiaodong, addressed by Yan Peiming. The Central Academy of Fine Arts (CAFA) Academic Committee series lecture which aims to spread to the academic forefront, and promote academic discussions.
‘Hyper’ is a prefix used in geometry or physics to denote four or more dimensions. Combined with ‘seeing’, this word is designed to delineate a multidimensional scene of today’s art works using digital media techniques.
All media representatives were together and guided to visit the graduate works, and some students on-site introduced their works.
The exhibition provides a platform for graduate students to share their creativity and achievements, a kind of innovation from the form to the content.
It celebrates art research in all its aspects of graduate education at the Central Academy of Fine Arts (ab. CAFA), including plastic arts, Chinese traditional painting, calligraphy, humanities, architecture and design.
The 2nd CAFAM Biennale is on view at the CAFA Art Museum, it focuses on the curatorial mechanism behind the exhibition, which has triggered an extensive discussion on this topic within art museum circles, curatorial circles and academic circles within a short time.
